Directions   Before you plant your flower beds: We suggest using a slow release fertilizer; either incorporating the fertilizer into the soil of the entire bed before planting or manually applying a slow release fertilizer into the hole before planting the flowers.
Contact Us

      For the manual method, we suggest 1 tbl - 4.5", 2 tbl - 6", & 3 tbl - 10"HB

After you plant your flower beds:

We recommend a liquid fertilizer immediately after planting your beds.  This will jump start your flower bed success.  After initial planting and fertilization, continue to fertilize every 4 weeks.

Late season nutrition:

Broadcast slow release fertilizer over the entire flower bed.
Spring - if planting May 1st, apply before August 1st.
Fall - Apply slow release fertilizer by March 1st.
      Apply a liquid fertilizer monthly.
Irrigation Practices: The key to success is early, tender loving care of your annuals.  If the season is wet, no watering is needed but fertilization is still required.  If the season is dry, watering is needed early and often.

The goal is to slowly wean off of constant watering and water less frequently as the summer and your flower beds progress toward the Fall.

The above information should be treated as a guideline for your flower bed success, however, every plant is different and has individual nutritional requirements.
